Greg Norman tied the knot with Evert in 2008 in the Bahamas. However, the power couple surprised many by announcing separation a year later. According to their close ones, the marriage struggled due to the lack of interactions with each other’s children from their past marriages. However, when Norman’s sister Janice Norman was asked about her brother’s broken marriage, she unleashed on the Tennis legend.

Following their divorce after 15 months of marriage, Chris Evert expressed her shock at the sudden end of her marriage. However, two weeks later, Norman’s sister finally came to the aid of the legendary golfer. While speaking to the Australian New Idea Magazine, Janice had a no-filter rant on her brother’s ex-wife.

She became very dominating and controlling and it became very apparent she was treating my brother badly”, said Miss Norman. She further added, “We all saw it, including his friends”. Janice Norman then revealed that Evert was jealous of Norman’s high profile in the sporting world.

However, according to his sister, Norman’s ex-wife wasn’t a fan of the Australian city and even discouraged Norman from buying a property. Nonetheless, as far as Norman and Evert were concerned, they publicly announced to “remain friends and supportive of one another’s family”.

Following his divorce from the Tennis legend, Greg Norman married interior designer Kirsten Kutner in 2010. The couple has been happily married ever since. However, Evert has remained unmarried after her separation from LIV Golf Commissioner.
