Paige Spiranac is a jack of many trades! An ex-pro golfer turned social media icon, there is only one thing certain about the gorgeous golfer: she cannot be confined to a single box! Throughout the past three years of her life, the blonde model has explored many career paths. And while she walked down the path of golf many years ago, there was another road that she could have taken. One that may have even been a “better” fit!
Paige Spiranac opens up about her alternate career path
In 2015, the golf beauty turned pro and began her career in golf. Unfortunately, that was short-lived, and in 2016, she retired from the sport. Thus, ended Spiranac’s career as a professional athlete. But that may not have been the case if the blonde golfer had gone another way. A way that now she believes may have suited her better!

She was answering questions on her Instagram stories recently when she was asked what other sport she would have chosen to play professionally instead of golf. And her answer came instantly. “Tennis,” she stated. “I think I would have been a much better tennis player than a golfer.” The ex-golf pro was certain that her tennis skills would have put her golf skills to shame had she taken to the sport!

She explained that tennis was also an option for her and that her aunt was, at one point, the “no. 8 in the world.” But eventually, Spiranac chose golf for one reason only: passion. “I love tennis, but I just had more of a passion to play golf,” she stated. “But I wish I stuck with tennis; I think I actually would have been a really, really great tennis player.”
How good of a golfer is Spiranac now?
Although now she ponders the road not taken, back then the stunning influencer was certain about her choice. She was, after all, a brilliant golfer. And despite now still being really good, back then she was even better. “I’m a scratch golfer now,” she said, answering a fan’s question about her handicap. “And when I was at my best, I was a plus four.”

It certainly is a big question as to how things would have turned out for the Instagram model had she picked up a tennis racquet instead of a golf club professionally. But one thing is certain: Had she done so, the golf beauty may have never found her calling as a social media icon!
