Anthony Kim has become an enigma for fans! After disappearing from competitive golf for over a decade, news of his return emerged. But it is still unclear where the American golfer will be playing – the PGA Tour or LIV Golf. Furthermore, the radio silence from the 38-year-old is causing fans more confusion.

However, LIV Golf player, Abraham Ancer, recently shed some light and addressed the rumors. The wording of the LIV Golf player conveys a plea that many fans of AK have been feeling for a long time! With the LIV Golf season starting soon at Mayakoba, Abraham Ancer sat on The Loop podcast to talk golf.

He stated he personally would be excited to see the ‘proclaimed next Tiger Woods‘ play, even if he decides not to join LIV Golf. “I think it’d be cool! It’d be definitely good for golf,” said Ancer. But the thought of Kim joining the Saudi-funded league, Ancer thought would be sensational, “Yeah be sick if he will join LIV – that’d be bada**.”

He said, “I wish I knew that would be so sick. I was a big AK fan and I’ve never actually got to meet him. Even being an OU alumnus we’ve never really been in the same spot and we never got to know each other.” But the LIV Golf player was excited about the news of the American golfer returning to professional golf.

The two golfers share a similarity among themselves in that they both played college golf for the University of Oklahoma. However, like all fans, Ancer is also in the dark about Anthony Kim’s next move.

Will Anthony Kim be joining the LIV Golf?

While the LIV player wishes Kim to join LIV, looks like the 38-year-old has made up his mind. Recent reports have pointed the American golfer is not going to tee off at Mayakoba. Ben Campbell and Wade Ormsby were seen traveling for the LIV’s curtain raiser, and there was no glimpse of the golf returnee, hinting that he will not be a part of the 2024 LIV Golf season.
