But how would it affect the golf folklore in the coming months? Spiranac predicted that fans would be keen on jumping on the bandwagon, carrying dozens of tampon packets on the course and making golfers pay for poor shots.

The issue could be a cause of concern in raucous crowds, like the 16th hole at the WM Phoenix Open. In a hole where fans are encouraged to be as loud as possible, there is a possibility of a sea of tampon packets hurled on the course.

What will be Paige Spiranac’s reprisal at such an event?

The social media star was asked whether she’d retaliate in such an incident, which she admitted to. But her firearm wouldn’t be tampons. Instead, after careful consideration, she answered it would be her popular golf towels.

“I’d do this, golf towels. I’d like to throw my golf towels into the crowd. You already know that people are going to be throwing tampons,” she said, before highlighting why tampons would already be out of fashion.

“You already know what’s going to happen? People are gonna come just come clearly stocked up with tampons and anytime someone misses the green or does something, they’re gonna start throwing tampons at players. Okay, that’s what’s gonna happen next year,” she predicted.
