Back in 2024, #1-ranked Nelly Korda won her seventh title for that season at the ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge. More than a decade ago, in 2011, Yani Tseng achieved a similar feat of securing seven wins in a single season. However, the situation seems to have changed in the 2025 ANNIKA.
Following a disappointing first round, Korda shot a tournament-low 63 (-9) in the second round to get back into contention. Now, with a prize purse of $3,250,000, the event will be witnessing the final round this weekend. Meanwhile, the WNBA icon, Caitlin Clark, took part in a special pro-am event at the Annika LPGA tournament held at Pelican Golf Club.

Can Nelly Korda grab a win in the 2025 ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge?
Linn Grant shot a 7-under 63. And with that, she shared the lead with Grace Kim in The ANNIKA on November 14. Although Nelly Korda had a disappointing start, she made a strong move with a 63 of her own. Alongside them, Kai Trump, although she played much better than before, lowering her score by eight shots, still stands far behind the leading names.

“I just capitalized on my good shots,” Korda shared after marking a strong comeback. She further analyzed her own gameplay.

“I actually didn’t play bad yesterday at all. I just went to the range after and then to the putting green and just kind of told myself that, ‘It’s a fresh day and you never know what’s going to happen’.”
Looking forward to having a win on November 16, Korda also added, “I came out and I started capitalizing a little bit more on the better shots.”
