The majority of athletes have some superstitions while they are competing professionally, and Tiger Woods is no exception. He uses a 1932 quarter as a ball marker on the green. “It was the year my dad was born,” said Tiger. “He taught me how to putt. So my dad is always with me when I play,” concluded Woods.

Some other superstitions of Tiger Woods on the course

Tiger’s dad Earl Woods died in 2006. And hence, this is the reason why Tiger always uses the 1932 quarter as his ball marker on the green. Furthermore, he even has a weird superstition where he carries three tees in his right pocket and a yardage book in the back right pocket. Additionally, if he has a pin sheet, it will go in the front left pocket, where he also carries a chapstick.

Moreover, Tiger always carries a chapstick with him for some reason. But as long as he has won 15 major championships and bagged 82 PGA Tours in his career, there is no reason to question or stop these things.
