The golf world shook by the ungodly slow pace that Patrick Cantlay displayed during the final round of the Masters on Sunday. What shook the people of the golf fraternity more was Hovland’s action. As it turns out, Hovland might have grown tired of Cantlay’s slow playing. But it did raise a bigger question that fans need an answer to.

Another fan continued the series of penalties he had in mind for Cantlay, “Fined, banned or docked shots tbf.” whereas, another fellow fan pointed out the concern that one should ask for Cantlay’s say on it as well, “Has anyone gotten a comment from Cantlay about this?”
