The LPGA stalwart, Nelly Korda, was probably heartbroken when her idol, Tiger Woods withdrew from the Masters. But as it is said, you must also find happiness in unpleasant situations. Korda seems to be following that by heart. The unexpected withdrawal dawned upon many, but Korda was able to find something that would make her happy, despite her idol quitting the iconic event of golf.

Nelly Korda is loving the vibe

The Olympics gold medalist updated that she was ready to fly home from Augusta National. It happened right after Woods withdrew from the Tournament. Even though she did not specify the reason behind suddenly flying back home, assumptions followed. Korda is a true fan of the GOAT golfer, and his withdrawal due to injury must have been painful for her to watch. But thankfully, she found her happiness in a souvenir.

Korda has posted an Instagram story where she shows a transparent packet with green boxers and the Masters logo on it. And she wrote, “got myself some masters boxers to sleep in,” followed by laughing emojis. But that was not it. The LPGA star gave her fans a sneak peek at her new shorts. In the next story, she wore the shorts with a black Nike sweatshirt and wrote, “I vibe with it.” She surely was loving it, as she also gave a thumbs up in the video.

Korda is one of the most cheerful personalities on the LPGA Tour. But when Woods withdrew, that probably affected her cheerfulness. We can’t forget her love for her idol. When she first met the 15 times major championship winner, she acted like a little girl. It was truly a fan-girl moment for her. While her golf icon could not stay in the competition, at least she will carry the memories of Augusta with her, starting with the sleeping boxers.

Her love for Augusta National

Even though she was not competing on the iconic ANGC, Korda knows the importance and legacy of the golf course. In a recent Instagram post by LPGA Tour, her quote was mentioned about Augusta. She said, “It’s Augusta. It just explains itself right there. So prestigious to even set foot on the golf course. It’s the Masters. It’s the vibe.” The 2021 Women’s PGA Championship winner for the opportunity to try out the golf course in 2022, and instantly fell in love with it. And if we talk about the vibe, she is set with her new boxers.
