Spectators at the 2023 Masters Par 3 contest witnessed some wholesome moments on the course, thanks to an unruly 17-month-old. The adorable rule breaker was none other than Sammy Spieth, son of the three-time major winner Jordan Spieth. On Wednesday, the cameras caught the toddler sharing an adorable moment with his father’s playing partner, Max Homa, at the Augusta National.

The World No. 5 enjoyed every minute of Sammy Spieth’s actions. Just like Homa, golf fans also found the moment incredibly heartwarming, with one fan terming it the “best part of the masters week days.”

Jordan Spieth and his wife, Annie Spieth, took their son to the prestigious Augusta National for the first time yesterday. The one-year-old looked at ease in his new surroundings and took to exploring the course on his own.

He also put Max Homa’s ball in the hole for him, inciting a chuckle from the golf star. The adorable moments were caught on camera, and fans on Instagram were blown away by his cuteness.

The Masters week is tense for the competing golfers and their fans. This hilarious moment, however, brought some reprieve amidst the chaos. “These guys are such clowns! It’s hilarious,” commented one fan.

“This… this is what it’s all about,” wrote another fan.

Netizens couldn’t stop gushing over Spieth’s one-year-old toddler. “So cute! Love watching them play today (on tv)! Sammy is too precious!!,” stated a golf enthusiast under PGA Tour’s Instagram post.

For the past few weeks, fans have been debating over the PGA Tour vs. LIV Golf drama at the Masters. Sammy Spieth’s adorable actions during the Par 3 contest have come as a welcome change for viewers.

However, little Spieth wasn’t the only one wreaking havoc on the golf course yesterday. Steven Kisner, the son of golfer Kevin Kisner, was also seen out and about with his toy golf club!

Homa and other PGA golfers react to LIV returnees at the Masters

This year, 18 LIV golfers are competing at the 87th edition of Masters. This roster also includes six former Masters champions.

Ahead of the tournament, PGA golf stars reacted to the defection of the PGA Tour players to the Saudi-backed faction. Last month, Homa had expressed his frustrations regarding the probable return of LIV golfers to the PGA Tour after their contracts with the rival tour expire.

Meanwhile, World No. 2 and Masters favorite Rory McIlroy has also revealed key details about his dynamics with the PGA Tour defectors, calling it a “nuanced situation.

It’s a very nuanced situation and there’s different dynamics. You know, it’s okay to get on with Brooks and DJ and maybe not get on with some other guys that went to LIV, right,” revealed the four-time major winner about his relationship with the likes of Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson.
