The fans, of course, immediately went berserk in the comments. Voicing their own suggestions, they stated that they wanted the golf legends paired up with PGA Tour stars.

Among all the suggestions, many claimed to see Woods take the course alongside his old friend and rival, Phil Mickelson. For them it was a perfect fit!

Many also claimed that who he played with didn’t matter one bit. All they wanted was for him to win the Masters and grab his sixth jacket.

Despite the varied opinions, the fans unanimously agreed that he shouldn’t be paired up with Justin Thomas and Rory McIlroy. Despite the three being close friends fans were certainly tired of seeing them together on the course!

A win next week would make the golf legend the record holder for the highest PGA Tour wins. But how good are his chances of doing so? Well, putting it bluntly, many feel as though Woods’ best days are behind him, and because of his long absences and constant injuries, he will not be able to grab a win in the most competitive fields ever.

That being said, four years ago, golf fans thought the exact same thing, and Woods went on to surprise them by winning his 15th major championship at Augusta itself. The golf legend made it very clear that day that he should never be written off. As for whether he can truly win it once more, only time will tell!
