Tiger Woods’ caddie provides unexpected updates about the golfer’s health

Ever since Tiger Woods was involved in the unfortunate car crash in February 2021, his professional career has been a mess. While the golfer has been getting even better with his swinging abilities with each passing day, walking is still a task. Joe LaCava shed light on the same. 

Talking about Tiger Woods’ physical and mental state, the caddie revealed details about the time he saw the golfer in extreme pain during February’s Genesis Invitational. In his interview with The Posthe said, “Obviously it affected him physically, but I think it got to him mentally because he’s grinding to block out the pain…I think that messes with you a little bit upstairs, and that’s the first time I saw him trying so hard to block it out mentally.”

Well, Woods’ G.O.A.T. mindset has definitely made him a fighter both on and off the course. But it’s hard to imagine how he deals with so much pain walking 18 long holes during tournaments!

The golf star has been facing serious trouble walking through the field in all his recent tournaments. No matter how hard he tries, Tiger Woods hasn’t been able to get rid of the limp caused by extreme pain in his leg. Nonetheless, there are chances that the golfer might be needing a ‘buggy’ soon. Or so he said in his recent press conference before the Masters!

“It is what it is. I wish it could be easier. I got three more years where I get a little buggy and be out there with Fred (Couples). But until then, no buggy,” said Tiger Woods.

Of course, it is not very pleasant to watch the 2019 Masters champion struggling to walk. But as the golf ace said, it is what it is!
