John Daly’s Got Jokes and Makes a Massive Revelation About His Son’s Involvement in New Hooters Deal
The 56-year-old spoke about his dream to play in the NFL in a video uploaded by PGA Memes on YouTube. In the video, the host and Daly tour his Arkansas house. He spoke about the same while showing off his insane collection of jerseys. He also revealed why he could not accomplish that bucket list goal.
Long John revealed, “Well I mean, I remember 91 I was almost going to kick a field going to a pre-season game for the Colts. And Perse wanted to do it but the insurance and all, the NFL said no. But I met Jeff George and I Knew Eric Dickerson through SMU. They used to kick our ass in football when I was playing golf in Arkansas.”
He added, “I said, ‘man it’s great to see you guys. I would love to have your jerseys.’ So they took them off, sign them, and then it all became this and all over this house in the cowboy rooms upstairs. I mean, some of the jerseys I got I mean, it’s just incredible what golf’s done for me to meet all these great people.”

How did Daly finish at the ClubCorp Classic?
The PGA Tour veteran did finish as expected last week at the PGA Tour of Champions event. He played at the ClubCorp Classic in Las Colinas Country Club. The two-time major championship winner finished the event with an overall score of four over par. As a result, the big hitter finished in tied 59th position after the final round. He shot a final round of two-over-par, 73 to finish outside the top 50 on the leaderboard.
His final round of 72 included three birdies and six pars on the opening nine holes. As a result, Daly moved out in three-under-par, 33. He made three bogeys and one double-bogey on the back nine to make the turn in five-over-par, 40.

Furthermore, Scott Parel ended the event with an overall score of 11-under-par. He forced an epic three-person playoff between himself, Steven Alker, and Gene Sauers. But in the end, Scott emerged as the winner after he made a par on the first playoff hole.
