Birdies and eagles galore. That’s how the second round of the Sentry went down. The $20 million purse Signature event pits the best against the very best. The Plantation course is witnessing the firecrackers explode in every round. So, the moving day, thanks to no cuts, will once again have all the 59 players jockeying for the limelight.

The Tour has already released the tee times and pairings for the penultimate round. Two of the biggest stars of Friday, Scottie Scheffler and Tyrrell Hatton, have been paired together. But before we dive into the pairings, a quick recap of what transpired in the second round.

Scottie Scheffler sits atop the leaderboard after posting a 9-under 64, knocking off eight birdies and an eagle. The American Pro carried on the stellar form that earned him the PGA Tour Player of the Year Award, the first golfer to win two consecutive times since Tiger Woods won three times in a row in 2007.

However, it was Tyrrell Hatton, with an aching body and still ‘recovering’ from jet lag, who stole the limelight. The 32-year-old shot 11-under 62, courtesy of a fine bogey-free 32 in the front nine. But Hatton piled on top of that a 30-under back nine, smacking six birdies and an eagle in the last nine holes.

The 97-foot eagle on the 18th is a thing of pure beauty that you should witness time and again. Hatton was tied for the second spot with Brandon Todd and Im Sung-Jae. On the other hand, Viktor Hovland tied with Collin Morikawa in the fifth spot.

The scoring has been spectacular in the Plantation course. The average score in the second round was 67.4, with all players breaking par, the Associated Press reported. Ahead of the third round, let’s look at the pairings and tee times.

Tee times and pairings for the moving day

The moving day will start at 12.57 PM on Hole 1 with Tom Hoge, J.T. Poston, and Si Woo Kim teeing off. Same time, Max Homa will move to Hole 10 with Erik Van Rooyen and Nico Echavarria at 12.57 PM.
