The Sentry 2024: What’s in Brendon Todd’s Bag?
Follow Us
Brendon Todd carries a bag that has an interesting variety. From Ping to Titleist, the three-time PGA Tour winner’s golf bag is an example of versatility. This is not surprising considering, unlike most PGA Tour pros, who have doubled down on improving their driving distance, Todd is quite content with his 282-yard average driving distance.
Naturally, this necessitates multiple clubs, and Todd has found ways to use them around. Interestingly, the Tour’s longest hitter, Rory McIlroy, has used the relative lack of versatility to support the Golf Ball rollback policy. The Pittsburg native is currently teeing off at the Sentry, where he sits in the second position after the second round.

Brendon Todd uses a Ping G430 Max with a 10.5-degree loft and Fujikura Ventures TR Red 6X shaft, GolfWRX reported. The Ping driver comes for $549.00 in the USA market. Although he ranked 189 on the Tour last season for driving distance, the three-time PGA Tour winner was ninth in driving accuracy. In fact, in the second round of the Sentry, Todd ranked first in terms of driving accuracy (86.67%).
Coming to 3-woods, the Ping G430 Max with a 15-degree loft also serves that purpose. In addition, Todd uses a Fujikara Ventures TR Red 8X shaft. For the 5-wood, the three-time PGA Tour winner picks up the Ping G425 Max with a 17.5-degree loft. Whereas, Ping’s G425 is his go-to choice for a hybrid with a Mitsubishi Tensei CK 80 HY TX shaft and 22-degree loft. G425 comes in at $642 on the market.
