New Ryder Cup caps leave the internet divided
Every edition, both Team Europe and US follow a dress code for the Ryder Cup that represents their respective nations. While the attire for the Team US this year is still a secret, the caps for this year are out.
The Ryder Cup-themed US team caps this year have a unique look to them as they have a tie-dye design on them. These caps in three different styles are up for sale as well at the official site of Ryder Cup.
And this look has left the internet splitting. One Reddit user posted a video from the course where two players are wearing these caps and they asked in the caption: “Who’s idea was the tie-dye design 🤦🏻♂️ just tacky and terrible.”

Redditors divided between “cool” and “childish” caps for the Ryder Cup
The Reddit threat became popular immediately. While some approve of these new-times look, others are just not that impressed with them.
One user wrote that seeing the pics of these caps, he instantly knew that people would complain.“As soon as I saw these hats I knew there would be someone on this sub complaining.” Another user likes them though: “Fym? These are dope.”

This user described them as“1st one is straight up heat..the 2nd one is cheeks.” But a user replied to him by writing, “I thought the opposite. The first is tacky stoner vibe, the second one is clean.” He added, showing their attitude toward the Ryder Cup in the process: “It’s a cool hat, just feels cringe for the event.”
Another trolled the design by saying that it reminds him of what their 8-year-old son wears. “Reminds me of what my kid makes at summer camp. He’s 8.” This fan said these caps couldn’t fit their big head. “Damn they only come in adjustable. Those Don’t Fit My Giant Head”
One user is a fan of the old style. “Can’t beat the classic navy or red with a nice logo in my opinion.” Another netizen liked this design. “To each their own I think they are fire….boomer”

Excitement is high as fans are desperately waiting for the event to start. Though they have diversified opinions on the caps, when it comes to winning all have the same thought. US fans would want their team to win, Team Europe fans would want theirs.
