In the very heart of the PGA Tour’s end-season fall line-up, the 2023 edition of The RSM Classic promises high stakes and some really intense competition. The tournament is going to flaunt a fat year-end purse, and some big names are part of the roster this time, so the buffs of golf are eagerly waiting.

Taking place at St. Simons Island in Georgia, the tourney prize money and individual distribution has left the golf world intrigued. No worries though, because we have reached the site with rescue. Here is a quick gist of all you need to know about the players, prize money breakdown, and more.

Top-tier golfers gather for The RSM Classic

By the looks of it, it seems that the event this year is going to gain a lot of traction because of the field that it features. With a symphony in their swings, big golf names like Ludvig Aberg, Brian Harman, Billy Horschel, Padraig Harrington, and many others—a total of 156— top-tier talents from all around the globe are going to be a part of the play.

Other than being the last leg event, as the seventh tourney in the FedEx Cup Fall series on the PGA Tour schedule, The RSM Classic will hold a much bigger weight. The golfing carnival will determine the players’ final standings for the year, and with that, the top 10 players will secure themselves a spot in the first two mainland US Signature events of 2024.

The competition is going to be fierce, and so a cut is planned to be enforced after 36 holes. This decision is a part of the game so as to allow only the top 65 players and ties to continue the quest for glory. Irrespective of that, though, every golfer who successfully completes four rounds of the tournament is guaranteed a share of the substantial prize money.
