Paige Spiranac kept mum throughout the Solheim Cup, of course due to her conflicts with the LPGA Tour. But when it comes to the Ryder Cup, it seems she can’t resist getting involved in the tournament controversies. The diva has candidly voiced her opinion about one of the on-course incidents on the second day of the hallowed event.

Previously, we saw Paige displaying her resentment against Rory McIlroy before the PGA Championship earlier this year. It seems like the former World No.1 has disappointed the golf mommy again.

Paige Spiranac voices her strong stance against Rory McIlroy

On Saturday, the USA pulled up their socks against Europe in the four balls. The Americans won three out of four matches. In the last match, Patrick Cantlay was paired with Wyndham Clark against Rory McIlroy, paired with Matt Fitzpatrick. The game was going neck and neck.

The match went right down to the last hole. Patrick Cantlay made an extraordinary putt to make it 3-1 for the visitors in the fourball contests. The American supporters were happy and Cantlay’s caddie Joe LaCava was no exception to that. But perhaps the bagman’s gesture offended the Northern Irishman. The hat-waving became a big issue, and even Shane Lowry got caught in the controversy.

Now, as the incident came to the attention of Paige, she didn’t shy away from speaking about it. The beauty said on Twitter, “Caddies take a lot of shit and their jobs are undervalued. Joe LaCava’s one of the best around. Cantlay was put through the wringer for the entire round so I don’t blame Joe for being passionate about his player/job. The singles matches is going to be fun👀.”

Then, in reply to her own tweet, she said, “I wasn’t there so I can’t know for sure but he didn’t look that close to Rory from one of the camera angles. Not the best way to handle the situation but to be expected considering the circumstances. Didn’t seem that disruptive to me”. This is not the first time she has talked about Rory upsetting her.

But Spiranac expressed her frustrations about the star golfer. She said, “We got Rory, and this course is perfect for him. You know what, I’m not picking him. I’m done picking Rory because it always burns me in the end”. Her bold decision was a direct result of Rory letting her down quite a few times before. Even during the Masters Tournament earlier, he had missed the cut and had an early exit.
