The comments against the slow play of DeChambeau sowed the seeds of a feud during the 2019 Dubai Desert Classic. The golf scientist used to take his sweet time before taking a shot. It annoyed Koepka, which led to comments on ‘slow play’. The statement, however, showed the annoyance caused.

Koepka said, “I just don’t understand how it takes a minute and 20 seconds, a minute and 15 to hit a golf ball.”
