The excitement is rising among the fans for the 2023 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. This year, the tournament will be full of drama when the play begins on Wednesday. This event will mark the tournament’s last edition, at least for now, as the revamped PGA Tour schedule and elevation of events have pushed out the annual tournament, which has been held at Austin Country Club since 2016. Experts have picked their favorite golfers. However, the former professional golfer Paige Spiranac has also revealed her pick recently. But who are they, and why she chose them?

Paige Spiranac has made yet another prediction

The brand ambassador of the PointsBet has dropped her list of the picks for the 2023 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. Spiranac took her Instagram story and shared her list. According to her, the “outright winner” will be the six-time PGA Tour winner Max Homa. However, the “sleeper pick” is an Australian professional golfer, Jason Day. The former number-one golfer won the 2015 PGA Championship and is a strong contender.

The two other names were the highlight of her list. The golf beauty chose the top golfer Scottie Scheffler and the number two golfer Jon Rahm. Rahm has already won the Genesis Invitational, Sentry Tournament of Champions, and The American Express this year.

Scheffler won The Players Championship and gained his top ranking back. It was the most significant margin of victory in The Players Championship since Stephen Ames won by six in 2006. However, Spiranac’s last year’s picks included Brian Harman, Thomas Pieters, and Alex Noren as her longshot winners. Only time will tell if her picks will do wonders or not.

Who is the experts’ pick for the 2023 WGC-Dell Match Play?

The CBS Golf experts have also picked Max Homa and Jason Day for the WGC-Dell Match Play this year. Homa has demonstrated sufficient golf skills to give him hope of taking this pod. He just finished a strong Florida Swing that saw him finish in sixth place at the Players Championship and lead the field in strokes gained approaches at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. However, the third name in the pick is different from Spiranac’s. According to the experts, Adam Hadwin does his best work on shorter, positional courses and has the putter to wreak havoc in the match-play format.
