Phil Mickelson is one of the biggest supporters of LIV Golf on the field. The six-time major winner has been defending the league with his statements in interviews and conversations for some time now. However, there is another man who has been actively defending the league despite being an unprofessional golfer. And famous controversial author Nick Adams thought it would be great if the two teamed up in the LIV Golf league.
Nick Adams about Phil Mickelson and Donald Trump
Adams is well-known to most golf fans ever since he was announced as Trump’s favorite author. He often draws comparisons between players and the former US President. In one of his tweets, he said, “Golf needs Phil Mickelson like America needs Donald Trump”. However, a later tweet by him suggested something even more imaginative.

Golf fans had all kinds of reactions to Nick Adams’ tweet in the comments. Most of them thought that, clearly, his statement was simply based on imagination. While others threw in taunts and indirect comments about the ex-POTUS and his partnership with Mickelson. Here is what some of them said:
When a fan asked Adams if he had actually watched Trump playing golf, another one came forward to make fun of Trump.
Nick, have you ever watched Trump golf?

Donald Trump has been extending his support towards Greg Norman and his league quite openly. And Phil Mickelson, being the face of the Saudi-backed league, has developed a pretty good friendship with him. While Mickelson left the PGA Tour and convinced various others to join the league, Trump provided the league access to his world-class golf clubs to organize professional tournaments.
