Tiger Woods and Charlie may be the headliners at this week’s PNC Championship. But the LPGA stalwart, Nelly Korda, has been attracting much attention. Korda is playing at the event with her father, Petr, and her skills have impressed everyone witnessing them. However, she is selfless and does not want the positive feedback only confined to her.
The PNC, primarily a parent-child affair, is one of many slightly varied tournaments that occur during this time every year. However, along with all the excitement for the event, PGA Tour pros continue to gush over Korda’s abilities. However, that was an addition to last week’s QBE Shootout. There, pros paired up with other pros, including some LPGA pros.

At QBE, the World number 2 player and Denny McCarthy paired up. However, throughout the day of the event, the two Presidents Cup teammates couldn’t take their eyes off the LPGA star.
PGA pro Kevin Kisner commented on Korda’s skills. He called her the Tiger Woods of the LPGA tour. What could be a better compliment coming from a pro? He appreciated how Korda could hit every shot just like she wanted to for eight holes. According to him, she never misses any shots because he has never seen Korda hitting a bad shot.
What did Nelly Korda wish for her peers?
It was not just Kisner complimenting her; Jordan Spieth is also a fan of her swings. He advised his father to swing like Nelly because her shots are always perfect. Spieth has paired up with his father at the PNC Championship. It meant a lot to her because she looked up to Spieth.

However, despite being overwhelmed, she wanted all the pros to come and watch all the LPGA pros playing. She believes that they will appreciate the same to them also. She said, “It’s been really cool to see the kind of feedback that I’ve gotten from the guys. They should come out to an LPGA event and watch all the girls play out there because they’ll be equally impressed with everyone out there.”
Korda did not just receive praise from Spieth and Kisner, but from Padraig Harrington too. Max Homa also appreciated her shots. According to him, they were outrageous, and he could not believe his eyes.
