Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are considered two of the best golfers of the modern era. Since both are competitive, they are used to trash-talking each other. They get so competitive that even the NFL star quarterbacks and rivals Tom Brady and Peyton Manning went speechless witnessing their trash talk.
The hilarious verbal battle happened during an interview before Capital One’s The Match: Champions for Charity. The event featured Tiger and Peyton Manning teaming up against Mickelson and Tom Brady in a one-day golf match. It all started when the interviewer pointed out that Mickelson had taken time to decorate his room for the interview.

“Tiger’s pretty familiar with this,” Mickelson said pointing at the picture of Woods presenting the green jacket to him. “It fits perfectly, thank you,” he added.
It is a tradition at the Augusta National to present a green jacket, along with the trophy and the prize money. And the winner of the previous year does it to the present winner. Since Woods had won the event in 2005, and Mickelson in 2006, Woods had to present the green jacket to Lefty.

The now 51-year-old, who was sitting in his trophy room, had also had his Match trophy with him. “I don’t Tiger if you’d know what this looks like,” Mickelson explained his The Match: Tiger vs Phil event trophy. As one can imagine, Lefty won it by defeating Tiger in the event.
“That’s actually what the trophy looks like, had you would’ve won,” Mickelson boasted his Match trophy over Tiger.
Tiger Woods got back Phil Mickelson with a savage reply
“Hold on,” Tiger said after Mickelson showed off his victories over Tiger. “I just got an ice bath, and I’m a little bit chilly.” The 15-time major champion took the green jacket that he had won in the 2019 Masters and wore it to cover him up.
