TGL is their most recent project that will provide an exciting experience with virtual golf courses. It features a match-play format which will be team-based. Also, they will have fast-paced matches which will last for only 2 hours.

Tiger Woods and McIlroy break ground for TGL

A groundbreaking ceremony was held at Palm Beach State College for the construction of an arena that will house the new TGL league. The co-founders of TMRW Sports, Woods and McIlroy, were present to mark the occasion.

Some fans absolutely love the move and are in complete support of Woods and McIlroy.

However, a lot of fans cannot get over the presence of the governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, at the event.

The league will begin to play early next year in partnership with the PGA Tour. Moreover, eleven players, including the GOAT, McIlroy, and world No. 1 Jon Rahm, have committed to the league.

What is the TGL?

The virtual golf league founded by TMRW Sports it will have six teams who will compete in a tournament on a computerized golf course.

What sets the TGL apart from traditional golf is its format and accessibility. Each match will be for 2 hours and will be played on Mondays. Furthermore, the audience will also have unprecedented access to players as they will be mic’d-up, allowing viewers to hear their thought processes during critical shots.

Palm Beach State College has an unused land of 10 acres which will be used to build the arena for the league. Additionally, the partnership includes educational and recreational initiatives to benefit the students.
