Tiger Woods has been one of the most prominent entities in the world of golf. Since he is a public personality with a great star value, there is nothing that the public doesn’t know about him. However, did you know that he has recently become a granduncle?

26th April of 2022 marked the day the GOAT of golf became a granduncle. His niece, Cheyenne Woods has given birth to her firstborn and gave Tiger this title. 

Cheyenne shared the happy news with the world through social media. “A day I dreamed of my entire life,” she wrote as the caption for the photo of her and the baby. “April 26, 2022, we finally got to meet our little guy, Cameron Jaxson Hicks.” 

Notably, the father of the baby is none other than the major league baseball player Aaron Hicks. Hicks plays as the center fielder for the New York Yankees. 

When Did Tiger Woods Start Playing Golf?

On the other hand, Cheyenne is a professional golfer. She turned professional in 2014 and joined the LPGA Tour a year later. The golfer has won only one championship title throughout her career, which she won at the 2014 Volvik RACV Ladies Masters. 

Furthermore, Woods has made 41 cuts on the 99 starts she had on the LPGA Tour. She has also made a total of more than $300k throughout her career. Cheyenne showed her career’s best performance at the 2016 Cambia Portland Classic, where she tied for the 6th position. 

Cheyenne and Aaron got married on the 2nd of February this year. The golfer had shared the same on her Instagram to let her followers know about it. 

How is Cheyenne Woods related to Tiger Woods? 

Born in Phoenix, Cheyennes is the daughter of Earl Dennison Woods Jr. and Susan Woods. Her father is the son of Earl Woods and his first wife, which makes him a half-brother to Tiger. 

That means Cheyenne is the 15-time major winner’s half-niece. Hence, he is the half-granduncle of Cameron Jaxson Hicks, Cheyenne, and Hicks’ newborn baby.
