Where was Tiger born?

Tiger Woods was born in Cypress, California, United States, and took a keen interest in golf from a young age itself. He was born on 30th December 1975. Tiger Eldrick Woods turned pro in the year 1996. He has presumably contributed more to the game than any other golfer. Tiger is the son of Earl Woods, a retired lieutenant colonel in the US army.

Notably, Tiger holds the record for most PGA Tour wins, which is 82, equaling the record of Sam Snead, who previously held the title. He is also a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. His induction took place in 2021.

Tiger made his first birdie at the Navy course, on 91 yards, par 3 when he was just four months shy of his fifth birthday. He made his first television appearance at the age of two in the year 1978, followed by an appearance in Golf Digest, aged 5.

Tiger’s injury and comeback

Tiger Woods suffered a serious injury earlier this year. Getting caught in a horrific car crash in February 2021, Tiger was sidelined for the rest of the year.

However, 10 months later, he made one of the most incredible comebacks in golfing history. Tiger made his comeback with his 12 years old son Charlie Axel Woods at the 2021 PNC Championship. The father-son duo shot a 15 under par 57 in the final round to finish in the second position.
