Relationship between Tiger woods and Elin Nordegren

Tiger Woods and former nanny, Elin Nordegren, married in 2004 and split up in 2010. Their marriage was initially fine, and they had two kids together, Sam and Charlie. However, their marriage saw a downfall when Woods accepted the truth about the alleged scandals in February 2010.

He accepted his fault and even apologized publicly. Elin could not believe that a world-famous sports star could do something like this, and her world went upside down.

She said she did not know what was going on behind her back. Nordegren did not suspect her husband for three and a half years. But when it came out in the public, she felt embarrassed, and her trust was broken.

Elin Nordegren went through a lot

In 2010, after they finalized the divorce, Nordegren finally revealed her pain. She said she went through ‘hell’ during all the alleged scandals and separation. After Woods announced the divorce, Nordegren talked to a publication and expressed her true feelings. She said it was difficult to accept that the life she once had was all a lie.

Talking to the publication, she said the word ‘betrayal’ was not the right word to express her feelings.

She said, “The word betrayal isn’t strong enough. I felt like my whole world had fallen apart. I have been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so badly wanted for my children.”

It was hard surviving. Nordegren struggled to get past it. But after she separated from Woods, she went on to become a full-time psychology student.

It was really hard for Nordegren. But she fought back and today she works as a mental health counselor and living with her boyfriend Jordan Cameron happily since 2019.
