Tiger Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren have maintained a healthy relationship since their divorce. However, the ex-couple is always surrounded by reunion rumors. Back in 2013, the rumors were almost turned into reality when reports suggested that the golfer was willing to pay an amount of $350 million to get back with his ex-wife. Nonetheless, the rumors were denied by Nordegren’s close friend.

Tiger and Nordegren got married back in 2004 in Barbados. After Woods’ cheating allegations made headlines all over the world, the couple decided to divorce in 2010 after six years of marriage. Their divorce caught a lot of media attention and was widely regarded as one of the biggest divorce cases in the United States.

Since then, there have been rumors of the couple giving their marriage another shot. However, at the beginning of 2013, it was rumored that Tiger had proposed Nordegren once again and was also willing to sign a $350 million anti-cheating contract.

Tiger Woods was willing to reunite with his ex-wife with a $350 million clause?

Even after their divorce, Woods and Nordegren had several public outings along with their children. Their public outings eventually led to the reunion rumors. But one rumor suggested that Tiger Woods had proposed to Elin Nordegren during the 2012 Christmas.

The reports also suggested that Nordegren was considering the proposal. However, she had asked for a prenup that includes a major payout in case Tiger Woods cheats again. Nonetheless, the speculations were quickly rejected by one of Nordegren’s close friends.

The close confidante of the Swede slammed the rumors. She said, “Farcical, bogus, absolutely fiction, false and that she is spending her time being a lovely mom raising her lovely kids.” Though the period in her life was difficult with major tabloids encircling the family constantly, Nordegren made sure that her children were the main priority.

Both Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren have since maintained a respectful relationship. Moreover, Nordegren also has a great relationship with Woods’ current girlfriend, Erica Herman. Though they had to go through a rough phase in their life, eventually they moved on from it.
