Everyone has a glorious memory of the 6th Grand Slam winner, Rory McIlroy. The golfer has recently been in the headlines and on the minds of the entire golf community. However, Tiger Woods’s girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, has created something more memorable as a special gesture for her daughter. In the recent video of Kai Trump, where she shared about the first day as a senior. However, when Kai shared about the great memory gesture, it struck with the community. While sharing about her room, she mentioned the memorable photo with McIlroy. Kai said, “My mom like made this kind of a room for us like or for me at least, where like if I have my friends over, I have like all my trophies over here, some cool things I’ve done. I have a photo of me and Rory.” Trump and McIlroy shared the course just before the Genesis Open. They both played a round of golf in chilling weather, wearing jackets and a woollen cap for a greater reason.

The video shared on Kai Trump’s channel highlighted the entire playing journey at the course. Till now, on YouTube, the video has garnered around 1 million views with 23K likes. As it is a rare sight to see McIlroy taking part with influencers, as earlier McIlroy for golf influencers said, “But look, I would much rather sit down and watch real golfers play real tournaments, and that’s just my opinion. That to me is more entertaining. But I understand that other people want something different, and that’s totally fine as well. I think there’s space for all of this.” But the video for the YouTube audience wasn’t the goal to feature McIlroy, as it has a bigger initiative associated with it.

The video had a greater initiative in collaboration with the TGR Foundation to support those affected by the wildfire. Through Genesis, the foundation has donated $8 million to the American Red Cross, World Central Kitchen, the California Fire Foundation, and the Genesis Inspiration Foundation.

But away from the video and initiatives, the golfer left a lifetime memory with his kind words.

In the video, where the duo shared the course, the Northern Irishman made multiple applause for her. First for the drive, he said, “Good shot, Kai. You’re too good for this YouTube golf.” As an amateur golfer, the youngest granddaughter of Donald Trump, she has shown some exceptional talent. She won the 2022 Women’s Club Championship and the 2024 Ladies Club Championship.

Even when the 18-hole was completed, McIlroy again praised Kai, saying, “That’s a good play, well done.” Trump manages school, golf, and her YouTube channel; that’s a lot on her plate. But still, with her game along with McIlroy, she showcased A-game in the chilling weather, which deserves the praise received. Kai, with her 1.19 million subscribers, has been keeping the community engaged. In fact, with her performance, she also has a NIL deal of $1.2 million with Callaway Golf Company and TaylorMade Golf.
