Justin Thomas emphatically won the 2022 PGA Championship at the challenging Southern Hills Country Club. He hit some crisp iron shots and held his nerves in an epic two-man playoff to win his second major championship. Crediting his impressive game, golf legends like Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, and others congratulated Thomas through some wholesome social media posts.

Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player congratulate Justin Thomas
The 15-time major championship winner, the golden bear, and the dark knight took to Twitter with beautiful messages for Thomas, congratulating him on his win yesterday at the PGA Championship.
The appreciation post included a few kind words from the three giants for Justin. They acknowledge the American professional’s incredible display in all four rounds of the second major championship event of the year.

Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus posted their beautiful messages with a picture of Thomas lifting the Wanamaker Trophy. As for the 82-time PGA Tour winner, he wrote his heart out on Twitter. Not to forget, both JT and Woods are good friends and enjoy playing with each other.

Tiger’s message read, “Big congrats to @JustinThomas34! He kept himself in this championship until the very end and once he got his shot he didn’t look back. Thanks to Tulsa and the @PGAChampionship for a great week.” Indeed, the 46-year-old professional’s words prove the love and respect he has for Thomas and how much he admires him.

What did Thomas shoot in the final round yesterday?
Justin shot a final round of three-under-par, 67 to finish on the top of the leaderboard. His final round of 67 included two birdies and two bogeys on the back nine. As a result, Thomas moved out in level-par, 35.
He made three birdies and six pars on the back nine to force a playoff with Will Zalatoris. Justin finished the three-hole aggregate playoff with a score of two under-par and emerged as the winner on Sunday.
