The heartbroken golfer posted on Instagram today announcing her brother’s passing.
Cheyenne Woods’ brother passes away
In a recent post, Tiger Woods’ niece revealed that her brother had passed away. She wrote, “On Nov 20, 2022 I lost my big brother.” The golf star also went on to talk a little about her brother and let the world know that she missed him a lot. She stated, “Justin was kind, curious, passionate and always wanted to help others.“

Woods wrote about how her brother was trying to help better her life by working on inventing a stroller that she and her newborn son could use to run with. Woods was heartbroken and said, “My heart aches, and I think about him every day.” He will forever be in the hearts of my family and I.“

She paid homage to her late brother by posting a series of photographs of the two of them, including photos from when they were children and he held her as she walked. With a heavy heart, she wrote, “Love you forever, Justin.”

Earl inspired both Tiger Woods and Cheyenne
Cheyenne became a professional golfer in 2012. Although Cheyenne had followed and was encouraged by her uncle’s career, she was initially inspired by a different Woods. In an interview, she once revealed that Earl Woods was her motivation and inspiration. She stated, “He was really the one who got me excited about the game and guided me through my junior career.”

Earl Woods, inspired and mentored by Tiger too, as a child. He once said, “My dad has always had a big belief in my abilities.” He added, “I can’t tell you enough about what my dad meant to my golf.” Woods and his father were very close, and his passing was very difficult for the golfer.
