The golf ace showed immense encouragement to eight-time PGA Tour winner Bryson DeChambeau for his bulky and fit physique and his career as well. Woods insisted that the former major champion has made strides that were never before seen in golf.

Tiger Woods appreciates Bryson DeChambeau

DeChambeau turned out to be the star playing alongside Woods. The Californian athlete showed an incredible mix of fitness and equipment tweaks and became a hot topic worldwide.

After playing with DeChambeau in the practice round on Monday, Woods said, “Bryson has put in the time, he has put in the work. What he’s done in the gym has been incredible. What he’s done on the range… and the ability to hit the ball as far as he has and in as short a span as he has, it’s never been done before.”

He added, “What Bryson has done has been absolutely incredible, and we have all been amazed at what he’s been able to do in such a short span of time. It’s never been done before.” Woods was truly impressed by the potential DeChambeau showed on the course and how he had been working so hard in the gym.

Woods has always supported DeChambeau

Dechambeau recently joined the LIV Tour and left the PGA Tour. But even before that, DeChambeau did not have many friends on the former Tour and stayed away from his fellow golfers. It all began after his kiddish beef with golf star Brooks Koepka. He also blamed his sponsor for another event once.

Most people maintained their distance from the player after that, but Woods stood by him regardless. Woods has been the biggest fan DeChambeau has had, and the 46-year-old also loves the way DeChambeau has transformed his body. Tiger also widely encourages Dechambeau’s scientific strategies to become the longest hitter in the history of the PGA Tour.

However, there have been no statements by Woods after DeChambeau joined the LIV Tour lately. Woods is not a supporter of the Saudi-backed Tour at all. Only time will tell what the future holds for the two and their bond.
