15-time Major winner Tiger Woods needs no introduction to golf fans around the world. But little did we know that Tiger also liked sports other than golf and more.

Woods mentioned how much he followed F1 and Michael Schumacher in an interview with Golf Digest.

The interviewer asks Woods about his interest in sports other than golf and any other sport that he followed. To this, Woods opened up about his old passion for F1 back in his mid-20s. He mentioned Michael Schumacher and said that he was dominant at the time.

Woods said, “Well, when I was probably in my early-mid-20s, I was calling a lot of F1, in which Schumacher was dominant.”

Tiger Woods said that earlier, no one was anywhere near Michael and he was better than everybody else on the team. He said that he watched Michael dominate F1 for over a decade.

“I would certainly watch and he just dominated the sport for over a decade.”, Tiger said. Woods also mentioned that the whole Ferrari team was far away from where Michael Schumacher was.

“Michael was so far away, well the whole Ferrari team basically, was so far away; better than everybody else. I just wanted to watch”, Woods said.

Tiger Woods’ passion for other sports

Other than his interest in F1, Woods also shared his hidden passion for darts. Woods said that he liked darts because of how fun it was and that everyone has a great time playing as well as watching it.

Tiger also mentioned watching a lot of cricket, and that it’s pretty common in the UK as well as in the Middle East. He also watched Rugby for several years.

Woods has been one of the best golfers of all time and has made numerous records in his career. He got into the game back when he was in high school and has been creating history and setting benchmarks ever since.

Tiger also recently recovered from an accident that he met in February 2021. He survived a car crash and almost lost his leg to it.
