However, they were both once asked in an interview who would they pick amongst themselves. Their answer is what deserves your attention.

As hard as this choice is, the golf legends were once asked to take their pick. This question posed a big dilemma for both parties. However, the way they handled it made all the difference.

In a recent interview, Tiger Woods was asked, “Jack or Tiger?” He responded, “Me. He is the greatest of all time, but you have to believe in yourself.”

Truly, as overrated as it sounds, self-confidence is truly the key to success. Especially in the field of sports, it is crucial to remain sure of yourself.

When Jack Nicklaus was asked the same question, his answer was equally impressive. The legendary golfer said, “Well, I would say exactly the same thing. If you asked, am I going to win or is Tiger going to win, I would have to say me, and Tiger would have to say him. If we didn’t believe in ourselves, then we wouldn’t be thinking much about how good we were or had much self-confidence.”

Both the players are truly the gems of their generations. It is an inspiration to see how emanating their self-confidence truly is.

It is very clear that Woods is a PGA Tour loyalist. The pro-golfer rejected around an $800m LIV Golf offer to maintain his loyalty to The PGA Tour. It was an opportunity that could potentially double his net worth but Tiger was sure to make his priorities clear.

He had a strong stand on the ongoing LIV controversy. He had shared his contentions about players defecting to LIV golf in the past.

According to him, some players would sadly never experience how it is to play the Tour. The world-famous pro golfer values his PGA Tour legacy more than the money the league offers.
