Tiger Woods has made the cut at the 2022 Masters and is all set to compete in the final two rounds. However, he is competing in a professional tournament for the first time in 17 months. Hence, finishing T19 and remaining in the middle of the leaderboard is a magnificent achievement indeed.
Meanwhile, after two, Tiger provided a major health update. “Well, I don’t feel as good as I would like to feel. That’s okay,” revealed Tiger. “As I said, I’ve got a chance going into the weekend. Hopefully, I’ll have one of those lightbulb moments and turn it on in the weekend and get it done.”

Going into the weekend, Woods is +1 and nine strokes behind the leader Scottie Scheffler. However, he is just four strokes behind the second spot as the leader, and the second-placed golfer has a gap of five strokes. But still, Tiger is optimistic as he says if he is within five or six going into the back nine, anything can happen.

Furthermore, he revealed his plans for the upcoming rounds and said he is trying to get himself in contention, going into the back nine on Sunday. “Tomorrow will be a big day,” revealed Tiger. “It’s going to be cool. It’s going to be tough. Again, the wind is supposed to blow again, and tough scoring conditions. I need to go out there and handle my business and get into the red and get myself a chance going into that back nine on Sunday.”

Currently, Scottie Scheffler has an outright lead as he is -8 thru 36. His incredible performance yesterday in diabolic conditions has earned him a lead of five strokes. Hence, it’s tough for others and for Tiger to cover this vast gap in the next 36 holes.
