Tiger Woods has been very clear about his stand against the LIV Golf Invitational Series. And so is his PGA Tour friends Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth. However, after McIlroy said that “There’s no room in the golf world for LIV”, he now barely has room among the richest players of 2022, according to Forbes.

It goes the same way for Woods and Spieth, who are surrounded by the names of LIV Golf players, and look like the “odd ones out”.

Tiger Woods makes it to the 2022 Forbes’ Highest Paid Golfers’ List

Even after being the face of the LIV Golf Tour, Phil Mickelson is been performing very well in their events. He may not be among the top performers as of now, but he has still managed to top the 2022 Forbes’ Highest Paid Golfers’ List. Mickelson is currently the highest-paid golfer worldwide making around $138 million. Following him is another LIV golfer and his friend, Dustin Johnson, at $97 million.

The third and fourth positions on the list are also occupied by two players who followed Mickelson on his journey to LIV – Bryson DeChambeau ($86 million) and Brooks Koepka ($69 million). However, Tiger Woods still belongs to the PGA Tour fraternity and sits at the fifth position, earning $68 million.

4: Brooks Koepka: $69 million ($53 million/$16 million)

5: Tiger Woods: $68 million ($43,500/$68 million)

6: Rory McIlroy: $43 million ($9 million/$34 million)

7: Sergio Garcia: $42 million ($35 million/$7 million)

8: Jordan Spieth: $39 million ($8 million/$31 million)

9: Patrick Reed: $37 million ($34 million/$3 million)

10: Charl Schwartzel: $34 million ($30 million/$4 million)

Woods expresses disappointment regarding LIV Golf players

Woods made it clear that he is very disappointed with the players who chose to join the LIV Tour. He said that the golfers “have turned their back on what has allowed them to get to this position.’’ He also stated that LIV CEO Greg Norman was responsible to cause damage to the game of golf.
