Tiger Woods finally teed off at the 2022 Masters on Thursday. The 15-time major championship winner played his first competitive round in an official event since November 2020 Masters yesterday. Moreover, with the major championship event approaching the moving day, at what time will the 82-time PGA Tour winner tee off in his second round?

Tiger Woods’ tee time in round two

The World Golf Hall of Fame teed off at 11:04 AM ET at Augusta National on Thursday. He played along with Louis Oosthuizen and Joaquin Niemann. Woods was among the professionals teeing it up in the first round in the morning wave. Moreover, large crowds had gathered at the golf course to see the five-time Masters champions play after a long time, and there isn’t a little doubt that the masses will increase even more on Friday.

However, the only thing that will be different in Woods playing in the second round is his tee time. The 46-year-old professional is among the professionals teeing up at the major event in the afternoon. Woods tee time is scheduled for 1:41 PM ET. He will be teeing it up again with the same partners on Friday. His group is the second last group to tee off on Friday.

Following Woods’ group is the group of the defending champion, Hideki Matsuyama, Justin Thomas, and James Piot. They will tee off at 1:52 PM ET. The last paring or group to tee off among the afternoon starters include Adam Scott, Scottie Scheffler, and Tony Finau. The last group will kick off their second round on Friday at 2:03 PM ET. All the professionals are trying to catch Sungjae Im, who is currently at a score of five-under-par and leads by one heading into the moving day.

Woods’ round one summary

Tiger made a strong comeback in the first round of the 2022 Masters. He started the front nine with a string of pars but made a birdie on the sixth hole. However, he made a bogey on the ninth hole. As a result, Woods moved out in level par, 36. He made two birdies and one bogey on the back nine to finish at tied 10th position after completing the first round. Tiger will enter the second round four shots back from the leader. He is currently at a score of one-under-par.
