Charlie Woods first showed an interest in golf at a young age and has since played in several junior tournaments. His skill is undoubtedly remarkable, and he has earned immense praise from many pros, including his father and first golf mentor, Tiger Woods. But it’s not just the 14-year-old’s swing and skill on the course that have impressed the golf legend; it’s also his tenacity and mindset!

The father-son duo has unquestionably spent a lot of time on the course over the last decade. They surely have enjoyed many special moments together. And as the 47-year-old revealed in TaylorMade’s most recent testing session, another such special moment took place recently, thanks to Charlie’s strong resolve, that left both the Hall of Famer as well as the rest of the golf world thrilled!

Tiger Woods responds to Charlie’s huge ambition

TaylorMade recently released an uncut video from their latest testing session. The golfers who starred in the testing of the brand’s new Stealth 2 lineup of drivers and fairway woods included Woods, Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, Colin Morikawa, and Scottie Scheffler. However, the most viral part of the session was when the five-time Masters champion opened up about his son.

TWLEGION recently took to their Twitter handle and shared the clip where the 15-time major winner talks about his son Charlie with Morikawa. In the clip, the 26-year-old asked the Hall of Famer if his son had ever beaten him in a game of golf. The golf legend replied, “Not yet, but he outdrove me the other day though.

However, the 47-year-old also revealed that his son was not happy with that and had a greater wish.  “He wants to beat me by the time he’s 14. Good luck,” said Woods, hinting that he wouldn’t go down without a fight!

This clip, of course, has gained a lot of traction in the golf world, captivating Woods’ fans! It has become the talk of the town as fans take to the comments and make their views known.

Fans react to Charlie Wood’s wish to defeat his father

Charlie’s wish to defeat his dad at the age of 14 is undoubtedly a huge ambition. The youngster recently turned 14 just a few months ago, and this only makes the video catchier, considering he’ll be looking to one up his father on the course soon!

Flooding the comments section of the tweet, the fans voiced their opinions on what they thought about the youngster’s ambition!

One fan claimed that beating the golf legend would be a feat that Charlie would take years, not weeks, to accomplish.

Another fan suggested that Woods trolled his son.

A few were just happy that Woods had shared the moment with them all!

Meanwhile, another fan thought that Woods had hilariously and brutally taken down his son with his “good luck” comment!

Yet another chimed in about Woods’ words for his son.

And one fan, rooting for the youngster, was even excited to see the two face off.
