Tiger Woods can return to the 2024 Genesis Invitational

After playing six holes in the second round, Woods was sitting at a score of 2-over and was below the projected cut line. However, the 15x major champion had to withdraw from the event due to developing flu-like symptoms. But it looks like he is doing much better now, according to an update. Sean Zak stated on X, “Tiger Woods visited his locker just now. Was upright and smiling. Gave out a hug. Packed up his locker and left.”

He was in relatively okay condition before leaving. Therefore, it means the 48-year-old can be expected to return to the 2024 Genesis Invitational, just not on the greens. As of now, Woods has officially withdrawn from the event but can return to the Genesis Invitational booth.

Tiger Woods is the host of the event, and if he joins the panel of experts, he will draw in more fans, too. And it is not the first time he will be there as he joined the booth in the 2022-23 season!
