Tiger Woods and his team sent a letter to a magazine over a fake interview
The legendary golfer, Tiger Woods, was going through a rough patch with no victories. In addition to that, multiple injuries were interfering with his ability to get his game in sync. Hence, in 2014, a prominent golf magazine published a fake interview of Tiger Woods as humor in a question-and-answer format with Dan Jenkins.

However, Woods was not impressed with this and called this satire “below the belt.” Furthermore, his agent, Mark Steinberg, sent a letter to the publication demanding an explanation and a written apology. Moreover, the writer also made a few baseless allegations about the legendary golfer.
Meanwhile, the writer had fabricated a story about himself and Tiger. And Woods’ agent wanted to know how the piece got approved by the editor and whether their publications stood with what they published?

However, Tiger and the publication settled their differences and decided to go ahead. Meanwhile, Woods had a tough time after this with multiple back injuries and operations. But he made an incredible comeback in the 2018 season and won the Tour Championship. Furthermore, he even won the 2019 Masters, his 15th major trophy, and scripted one of the best comebacks in sporting history.

The 15-time major championship winner is currently recovering from a solo car crash. However, he still competed in three major events this year, but his pain and struggle were visible throughout his time on the golf course.
