Former number one Tiger Woods was not untouched by the same feeling. His father late, Earl Woods, supported him throughout his career until he bid goodbye to us in 2006. Woods’ half-brothers, Kevin Woods, and Earl Woods Jr. were not in much contact with their golfer brother.

In 2012, Earl Woods Jr. talked to ESPN and shared the problems he had been facing. On the other hand, Kevin was losing control of his body with every passing day. Therefore, a heartfelt appeal was made by Earl Jr. to his GOAT brother, Tiger Woods. The distance was killing the relationship, and the request was a slam for the pro golfer. Did Tiger Woods abandon his family?

After the demise of his father, Tiger Woods was broken completely. He lost his biggest supporter and cheerleader. Post his death; Woods was away from his family. However, according to Earl Jr., they had no contact with Woods since they buried their father’s ashes in Kansas in 2006. On the other hand, they diagnosed Kevin with multiple sclerosis in 2009. Therefore, he was in a wheelchair, struggling to move by himself.

Earl Jr., Kevin, and sister Royce were children of Earl Woods and Barbara Gary, the first marriage. They are 20, 18, and 17 years older than the pro golfer. In contrast, Woods was the product of Earl Woods’ second marriage with Kultida.

“Nobody’s asking for money here, but [a caregiver] really would be nice for Kevin. It would make Kevin comfortable,” said Earl Jr. The brothers of the golfer did not want any financial help. They just wanted their brother to be there for them. Kevin’s body parts were losing control, and he could barely move. Stuck in a wheelchair, if a caregiver were around him, it would mean the world to him.

Earl Jr. said that not a single dime was ever demanded when he talked further about the favors he gets from his golfer brother. Be it tickets to a tournament, Woods never helped, nor his brothers asked. But it would have made Kevin feel so much better, only if the major championship winner had called him once.

Did Woods ever talk to his half-siblings?

Whenever Earl Jr. wanted to approach Woods, he always faced failure. He used to leave messages but only not receive replies. A spokesperson of the golfer once told Earl Jr. that the pro was preparing for the Masters Tournament; therefore, he won’t be able to return calls.

This wasn’t the case when Earl Woods was alive. The legend golfer also bought the house for his half-sister Royce as a thank-you for taking care of him during college. However, everything changed post the demise of their father.
