Tiger Woods survived a terrible car accident in 2021. Subsequently, he made a comeback to professional golf at the 2022 Masters Tournament. Now, he is back with his annual Tiger Jam in Las Vegas to raise money for his TGR Foundation! 

Woods is known for his incredible talent in golf. He is widely considered the GOAT of golf. However, he is not just a golfer but a well-known philanthropist too.

TGR Foundation is a part of many of the golfer’s ventures under the brand label TGR. The Foundation helps students by empowering them to pursue their dream through good education. 

Founded in 1996, the Foundation has been helping youth and children to make them find their dream and ensure that they achieve them. Furthermore, the TGR Foundation celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2021.

Meanwhile, Tiger Jam in Las Vegas is a two-day entertainment event hosted by Tiger to raise funds for his charity. According to the website, Tiger Jam has raised more than $22 million for the Foundation. 

The 2022 Tiger Jam presented by DraftKings begins on the 29th of April. It is the ultimate destination for all the fun activities. People participating in the event can play golf for two days at one of the most exclusive courses in America, the Shadow Creek.

Furthermore, the event also features a charity poker event on Friday and music and a ton of entertainment on Sunday. Notably, the guests can further get to enjoy a music show by the OSCAR and multiple Grammy-winning artist, Lady Gaga, this year. 

How does Tiger Woods think the Tiger Jam helps his Foundation? 

“Tiger Jam has been an incredible fundraising event for us,” the golfer said. Furthermore, Woods explained that the event presents a great time for the guests as they have a variety of programs to enjoy.

“Most of the public felt that we’re just a golf foundation,” Woods added. “But we are so much more than that.” The golfer further explained that those who attend the program without the knowledge of the Foundation’s mission and vision. However, they understand what the Foundation is all about after attending it once.

“We found a lot of sponsors because of it,” Tiger said about the Tiger Jam event. 

Although it is not a golf tournament, Woods be making his next appearance at the Tiger Jam this week. His TGR Foundation tries to make the fundraising event entertaining for all the donators through music and games.
