No matter who you are and what you do, you will have to get accustomed to watching what your children like on television. The same happened with Rory McIlroy, one of the Top 10 world’s best golfers, and the golf world is enjoying it!

The 2022 PLAYERS Championship began on March 10th and was supposed to end on Sunday, the 13th. However, heavy rain and wind caused the tournament to get delayed. Due to this, the golfers have a lot of extra free time to spare all of a sudden.

As expected, the reporters wanted to know what the players did to pass the time. When the press approached McIlroy with the question, they had hoped him to answer that he read a book or watched a new show. However, the golfer had an unexpected answer.

The PGA Tour and Golf.com’s Claire Rogers shared his favorite entertainment program to binge at his free time on their Twitter accounts. Frozen, Peppa Pig, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse have become the only source of entertainment for the golfer since his daughter was born.

Poppy Kennedy McIlroy was born on 31st August 2020 and is now almost two years old. Like any child, young McIlroy is fond of cartoon shows, and her loving father watches them with her.

The golf world felt that they could relate to the Irishman’s answer and had a lot to say to the news.

Fans’ reaction to free-time activities of Rory McIlroy

The fans were happy to see McIlroy being a regular father and appreciated his efforts to try and be good at it.

Many fathers related to his answer as they are going through the same thing.

It was expected to get positive reactions from the golf fans for the post. However, it was surprising to see how many gave their suggestions as well as their thoughts on some cartoons. One of them even wrote, “Peppa Pig is not good. The stories just end. Club house is good with a solid theme song.”
