The pro golfer Tiger Woods did not care much when the golf world was in chaos after the revelation of his alleged scandal. The PGA tour champion lost the respect of many, and they expected Woods to “clean up his act.” Watson believed that Woods messed up, and he knew about it. What did Tom Watson expect from Tiger Woods?

Therefore, he asked the golfer to “show some humility.” He was referring to the time when the alleged scandal came to the highlight. After his 2009 car crash, he was away from golf indefinitely. Watson expressed his displease ahead of the Dubai Desert Classic. According to him, Woods needed to take ownership of his mistakes and fix his life before entering a professional life again. Expressing his disappointment, he said, “One of the things that are not in question is what Tiger has to do; he has to take ownership of what he has done. He must get his personal life in order.” The 1970s outstanding golfer even backed up the comments of the former US Open champion Geoff Ogilvy. He suggested that Woods should make his return away from fairways.

The retired golfer was very upset by Woods’ deeds. He criticized the former number-one golfer for using lousy behavior on the golf course. He compared the pro golfer with old legendary golfers and their attitudes. Comparing Woods with Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer, he said, ” in the sense that there was language and club throwing on the golf course.”
