The Saudi-backed golf league announced its 42 players list for the kick-off event at Centurion Club, just outside London. Moreover, the prominent names teeing it up at the event include Johnson, Sergio Garica, and Lee Westwood. But, the American professional’s name comes up as a surprise as he, earlier in February, had pledged his alliance with the PGA Tour.
As a result, Johnson made it clear that he would not play on the rival tour, despite various speculation going all over the golf world about him receiving huge offers to play in the new league.
