Tiger Woods can’t walk for long

Woods has made tons of records in professional tournaments and is counted among the most talented golfers in the world. The 15-time major winner had it all going great for him until one day when he met a terrible accident in February 2021. Ever since he crashed his car, Woods has not been able to play to his full potential. Moreover, walking has become a huge task for the golf great.

The PGA Tour requires players to walk 18 holes to play throughout the tournament. However, the tour also makes certain exceptions for players in case of medical emergencies. But Woods is adamant to follow the rules and hence, quit the championship rather than requesting a cart. After the withdrawal, Woods explained the issues he had during the game. The golfer said, “Shot a couple 63s and 64s at home. It’s just a long haul. I just can’t walk for too long”. The golfer tried his best to tell the media that hitting amazing shots is not an issue for him. “I can hit whatever shot you want,” he said. “I just can’t walk”.

The golfer was also asked why he didn’t opt for a cart as John Daly did back in the day. But Woods is a man of principles and said“On the PGA Tour, no.”. Turns out that the former champion would “never take a golf cart until it’s sanctioned.” Woods also said that might opt for a cart at The Match and the upcoming PNC since it is sanctioned. But in other PGA Tour events, Woods thought it would be unfair if he did so.

And it will take a great game for Woods to gain his fans’ trust back.
