The showdown of LIV Golf’s 2023 season is about to begin. Brace yourselves for intense gameplay with the highest prize money at stake. The LIV Golf Miami will start on October 20 and end on October 22 at the Trump National Doral Golf Club Miami.

The 3 days will be packed with head-to-head team performances. Teams ending in 1-4 at the standings were advanced to the semifinals, which are 4Aces GC, Crushers GC, Torque GC, and RangeGoats GC. Teams from 4 to 12 in the overall standings will fight each other in a shotgun start on Friday. A team will play three matches: one foursome match and two singles matches. After winning, a team will get 1 point, and teams that acquire 2 points first will advance on Saturday to the semifinals.

Brooks Koepka vs. Phil Mickelson

Format: Quarterfinals/Semifinals/Finals

All teams will have a shotgun start and the highest-ranked team will choose its opponent. Matches will be played until a winner is decided; no ties. The first four teams with 2 points will advance from the quarterfinals to the semi-finals and similarly to the finals. 

Teams earning their spot in finals will compete for the 1st to 4th position. Teams eliminated in the semifinals will contend for the 5th to 8th position and teams out in the quarterfinals will fight for the 8th to 12th position. Match-play in the quarter and semi-finals and stroke play in the finals.

  • Friday and Saturday shotgun start: 1:15 p.m. ET
  • Sunday: 1:05 p.m. ET

Prize money, tickets, and broadcast

Prize money: The LIV Golf Miami has a prize pool of $50 million. The winner’s purse is $14 million while the team share is $8.4 million and individual members of the team will get $1.4 million. Prize money is distributed according to the final standing.

Tickets: The tickets for 12 and under are free. Additionally, there are special offers for first responders, university students, teachers, and medical professionals. Military service members, active or veteran, can also avail tickets for themselves and their plus ones.
