Golf can often teach us about life. The fact that the lowest score in the game wins itself says a lot. Sometimes things that look negative can stand out as a winning aspect or be taken as positive. DJ Khaled had a similar approach when he found himself stuck.

The famous rapper and music producer is also a golf enthusiast. And he has never stopped himself from expressing his undying passion for the game. So it is understandable that he might draw some from the game when it comes to having metaphors or analogies in his life. Do you want to know his latest teaching?

DJ Khaled is stuck, quite literally

The rapper has been working on his golf game. And is often seen playing at golf courses and doing everything that a professional golfer does. The golf bug is so infectious that Khaled has repeatedly expressed the desire to turn pro.

But recently, he hit a bump, literally. He was at the Ocean Club, Paradise Islands, in the Bahamas, and wanted someone to record him playing the sport. He reaches the hole in four strokes and reveals the breathtaking view of the golf club.

Later, though, he shared a video of his golf cart stuck in the sand in another Instagram update. He keeps blaring the horn, and a resort employee helps by pushing the cart back. Suddenly, it goes back in reverse, landing the cart and DJ Khaled in it on an elevated surface. From there, he drives it to the front.

But before he drove and was on his way, he had to convey something. “Life. Roadblocks. Don’t let nothing stop you.” The person recording Khaled laughs behind the camera while the music producer continues, “Don’t let nothing stop you. ’Cause we ain’t stopping. We gon’ keep going.”

This is not the first time the artist has become a motivational speaker. He has often celebrated the exquisiteness of the sport. Once, he also equated life with golf. He said that just, like golf, it is not easy, but undoubtedly beautiful.

Social media divulges its two cents to the artist

The cliche that artists often have a different eye than non-artist might hold some weight. At least, it seems true in DJ Khaled’s case. He has a knack for picking up the literal situation and finding lessons. But it does not stop there. He shares his thoughts and updates with the social world quite frequently.

When the Instagram audience saw the cart-stuck-in-the-sand video, they promptly reacted. In the spirit of humor, one fan jumped on the cliche indirectly and acknowledged the promptness of DJ Khaled. They wrote, “this guyThis can come up with anything to say in any moment.” 

Another one impatiently wrote, “Get him off the course.” And one was quick to impart a solution using saracasm, “Try walking the course won’t happen then.” A different solution was, “Bring out the other golf cart!” There were harsher opinions, too. “The guy is embarrassing to real golfers.”

Looked like someone knew a lot about carts and golf in general to make an informed comment. “We really should consider using AWD off-road buggies as golf carts at this point. Even when nothing else goes wrong some carts can’t handle the hills on pavement.”

In the spirit of celebration, one of the fans commented, “Then he got it unstuck and back on track.” Some fans enjoyed the motivational with a touch of funny. “This was actually funny.”
