Tony Finau’s 2021 has turned out to be one of the best PGA Tour seasons in his life. With eight top-ten finishes, Finau won the Northern Trust as well. The 32-year-old was also a part of this year’s Ryder Cup, helping lead the team to a 19-9 victory. That being said, Tony Finau also knows how to enjoy some time to himself, which often includes some quality time with his children.

Tony Finau shares adorable photo of his children on Instagram

Captioning the adorable picture, Tony wrote, “My starting 5 forever.” What caught everyone’s attention was that all his children were in identical Tune Squad jerseys from Space Jam: A New Legacy. The movie is a sequel to Michael Jordan’s 1996 Space Jam, this time starring NBA icon LeBron James. Undoubtedly, Finau and his family seemed to enjoy the basketball-themed film.

The replies to his post were as expected, with a string of fans calling the photo ‘cute’. Some also shared that Space Jam was their kids’ favorite movie too. “Looks like a solid squad,” a fan wrote. “How blessed are you to be their coach?” one fan asked. 

“The Finau Five!!” wrote another.

Family heritage

Finau, married to Alayna Galea’i-Finau, has five children – Jraice, Leilene Aiaga, Tony, Sage, and Sienna-Vee. Their youngest was born this year as Finau announced the news on social media. He thanked his wife in the post, referring to her as a strong woman who brought their bundle of joy to life.

In an interview before Sienna-Vee was born, Finau had spoken about children, and how he would like to have more.

“We’d like at least one more,” he said “We’ll probably do five or six. We come from big families.” 

He referred to his Polynesian heritage, along with the Mormon community. He himself has five brothers and three sisters, while his wife has three sisters and a brother.
