A total of 48 competitors, divided into 12 teams, will fight for the prize fund of $25 million. Among this, $20 million will be up for grabs for individual players, and the remaining $5 million will be contested by the teams.

The players who will have all eyes on them are Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, David Puig, Cameron Smith and Bryson DeChambeau.

Brooks Koepka

Brooks Koepka just appeared as the sole golfer at the Ryder Cup. The player has been dominating the world of golf with his current form and is also the defending champion for this event. He has had 7 top 20 finishes on the LIV Golf tour. He has also performed phenomenally well on the PGA Tour, tied for 2nd at Masters Tournament and winning the PGA Championship. Without doubt all eyes will be on him.

Cameron Smith

He is ranked third in the LIV Golf earnings chart. Smith’s performance this season has been stupendous. He won the LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster with a score of 12 under par. He also won LIV Golf Invitational London with a score of 15 under par. At the US Open too he was at the fourth position. His form right now makes him a formidable force to watch out for.

Dustin Johnson

DJ is ranked just below Cam Smith in the LIV Golf earnings chart at the fourth position. The golfer has been performing well at events constantly. He tied for ninth at the LIV Golf Invitational Chicago which concluded recently. As the team captain, he led 4 Aces GC to victory in four tournaments last year, including Portland, Bedminster, Boston, and Chicago. His success continued in May 2023 when he secured a win at the LIV Golf Tulsa event, and in July, he once again guided his team to triumph at the LIV Golf London competition. This week, he is determined to pursue yet another victory.

David Puig

If anyone places a bet, they would do so on this player because of his excellent track record. He is the youngest player on the field as of now. He, however, has won the International Series Singapore recently with a score of 19 under par. This was his maiden victory. Owing to his amazing performance recently he will be the center of attention at this event.

Bryson DeChambeau

Places 2nd in the LIV Rankings he is a golfer to watch out for with his long drives and accurate short game. During the month of August 2023, at The Greenbrier, DeChambeau clinched his inaugural victory in the LIV Golf tournament.

He achieved this feat by posting an impressive 61 in the second round and setting a new tour record with a remarkable score of 58 in the third and final round. Notably, this score also equaled the record for the lowest round ever recorded in a high-level men’s professional golf competition. If a golfer fires a round as low, his form certainly is one to watch out for.
