The partnership between Tiger Woods and Nike was truly a force to be reckoned with. However, as the power duo called it quits, an impetus emerged for other brands to establish their foothold in the new PGA Tour world after this disentanglement of golf market giants. Interestingly enough, in such a short period, some unique brands have emerged to grab hold of this upcoming opportunity.

These brands have also made deals with some famous names in the golf world in their hopes of driving change in their favor. But what are these brands that have smartly capitalized on the ravages of the 27-year-long partnership?

The golf world seems to be in a fashion revolution. Moving away from the stereotypical set of brands, the new age of golfers is eyeing new and emerging unique brands for all things fashion. Fashion is surely a way to express one’s personality, and these golfers are proving this to be true!

3. Malbon Golf

Tiger Woods was not the only PGAT pro to cut ties with Nike this year. Interestingly, Jason Day started the year by becoming the first player to let go of his seven-year alliance with Nike on the grounds of not experiencing any uniqueness in his style. In his attempt to bridge that gap, Day decided to opt for the streetwear-inspired brand Malbon Golf, highlighting his fashion freedom. Malbon Golf is a unique lifestyle brand inspired by the game of golf.

They combine the timeless elegance that comes with a holistic sport with the requirements of modern-day sportswear. The brand motto is, “To inspire today’s youth to participate in the greatest game on Earth.” Surely, this ideology of the brand is one of the aspects that has drawn the 3-year-old to its skillfully crafted pieces that tie a knot between contemporary fashion choices and the uniqueness the game of golf offers, making it the perfect fit for him.

2. Flag and Anthem

Most recently, the famous brand Flag & Anthem has emerged as a strong option in the PGA Tour world. They have realized this by signing a deal with Keegan Bradley, who is their first PGA Tour brand ambassador.

In a tweet, Keegan Bradley wrote, “More than just a sponsor, I feel like I’m becoming part of a family—and I couldn’t be prouder to start this journey together. Let’s gooooo!”

The brand has a strong ideology centered on providing supreme-quality pieces at a price that does not break the bank, making a link between quality and affordability. Their arrival in the PGA Tour world has opened the gates of possibilities for their future in the golf market.

1. Lululemon

Next on the list of unique brands avidly filling the gap in the golf market is Lululemon. The $58 billion conglomerate first dived into the world of golf through LPGA sensation Lydia Ko. However, now the brand is eyeing Min Woo Lee to help realize their golf world dreams into a new reality.

At the moment, however, Lululemon is not as avidly involved in golfwear as they would like to be. Their key selling point is how their technically engineered fabrics cater to the on-course demands of all golfers who choose to wear them. The brand gets bonus points as it can also handle some serious sweat!
